Rollerblading on Manhattan's West Side
Last Sunday, we took a long trip rollerblading from our home on W 63rd street down to Battery park at the tip of Manhattan. There's a continuous bike and skates path, that actually goes all the way north to George Washington Bridge. Most of the waterfront - which had been industrial or wharehousing until a couple of decades ago - has now been converted into a park. Crisp weather, not to hot, not too humid - perfect to watch New Yorkers go out...
